Steven Bernstein is a very unique and interesting musician. He plays slide trumpet, which is kind of a cross between a trumpet and a trombone, and that is only the beginning of his oddities. He is a prolific writer/arranger/bandleader, as well as a valuable member of many groups. Based out of New York City, he is known for his wide array of styles and slightly bizarre takes on classics.
