Minneapolis Farmers' Markets

The Market is operated by the St. Paul Growers' Association, Inc. The association allows only fresh, locally grown produce to be sold--directly from the grower to the consumer. Also available are bakery goods, cheese, poultry, buffalo, venison, beef, pork, lamb, maple syrup, eggs, bagel sandwiches, honey, organic plants and produce, flowers, plants, shrubs and many other items.

Their mission is to promote local, sustainable and organic agriculture, increasing economic opportunities for farmers, urban youth, small businesses and food artisans. To offer experiential learning about and access to healthy local foods, and build a vibrant gathering place for Minneapolis residents and visitors.

The Minneapolis Farmers’ Market members use a wide variety of sustainable growing practices spanning from greenhouse and hydroponics, to fields of fruits and vegetables along with improved practices for the production of farmstead goods. The Minneapolis Farmers’ Market is dedicated to the success of its farmers markets, the future of small farms and agriculture, and most importantly, providing quality to customers.

The mission of the Midtown Farmers Market is to create a vibrant forum in South Minneapolis that connects community residents and nearby rural food producers in a mutually beneficial economic and cultural exchange.
