Target was prey to hackers towards the end of last year. There is now a report out by Businessweek saying that executives knew of a security breach sooner than they did anything about it. The security team for Target is based here in Minneapolis. We owe a lot of our corporate housing Minneapolis clientele to companies like this that are based here and we hope to see them doing well. It is a troubling thought, though, that the people in charge at Target would have known what was going on and stood by while hackers stole tens of millions of peoples’ personal information.
