It has been cold enough this winter that a rare natural wonder is reachable! We are talking about the Ice Caves at Apostle Island National Lakeshore. It is located north of Minneapolis on the shore of Lake Superior. When temperatures dip and stay at this level the shore actually freezes enough that the park rangers open it up to walk to nearby caves, usually only accessible via boat. Social media has created a frenzy and hordes of people are making their way up to see the caves, smashing record attendance already.
