Since 1997 the Guthrie has welcomed emerging actors from advanced training programs across the country to participate in A Guthrie Experience for Actors in Training. This is an eight-week program of classes, workshops and rehearsals that culminate in a theater piece which is devised by the students and directed by program alum Randy Reyes.
