The Catherine G. Murphy Gallery at St. Catherine University is presenting "War is Always With Us". This exhibit is the works of David Byrd. He was a night orderly in the psychiatric ward in a VA Hospital in New York. The series of paintings show the daily routines and individual personalities of institutionalized veterans. These compositions reflect the loneliness and isolation the patients felt. The exhibition ran until December 2nd.
